Under the guise of “assisting” beleaguered American airports awash in long flight delays—and even longer passenger security lines—due to the partial government shutdown, President Trump has now re-deployed his ICE terror machine from the streets of America into its airports.
And in less than 24 hours, they are abducting and terrorizing innocent people.
“I don’t know who you are, you can be somebody kidnapping her!” a concerned fellow passenger screamed at San Francisco International Airport as two ICE agents—both wearing regular street clothes with no clear identification badges—pinned down a screaming woman to detain her…
As her young daughter sobbed in front of her.

Watching this, the first thing that entered my mind was my own 3-year-old daughter—and the anguish of imagining her watching strange men abduct her mother or I in front of her. How traumatizing in the moment…
How traumatizing for the rest of her life!
And when not straight up kidnapping people at the airport, ICE agents are getting paid to pretty much…stand around (as TSA workers still coming into work at airports go unpaid).

All of this chaos, by the way, is happening because Trump and his Republican sycophants in Congress refuse to agree to obvious, common-sense reforms to ICE like banning agents from using face masks and, um…you know…following the fucking constitution and requiring ICE to obtain judicial warrants to enter private homes.
This is why there are agonizingly long lines at airports, thousands of flight cancellations a day, and absolute chaos—all because Trump, co-president Stephen Miller, and the rest of the cult refuse to scale back their ICE terror.
And, in a rare moment of strength and political courage, usually spineless—and plenty corrupt—Democrats have held firm in not agreeing to funding DHS without major changes to ICE.
Frankly, Democrats should be refusing to fund DHS until ICE is abolished altogether—but knowing they won’t dare be that bold, I’ll at least credit their current refusal to cave (for now).
