REMINDER: in addition to the majority of police departments across the country, the Department of Justice legally prohibits police officers from shooting at fleeing vehicles.
But, as we know…laws don’t seem to apply for Trump’s masked paramilitary gestapo (ICE).
MAKING MATTERS WORSE: after ICE shot Garcés Perez, it seems ICE agents refused to, or failed to, provide medical care to him. According to an eyewitness, it was local Austin police—not ICE—that cut open his shirt to find a “deep hole between his shoulder blades.”

To add immoral insult to injury: both his wife and attorney were blocked from seeing Garcés Perez at the local Austin hospital.
Imagine that: you find out your loved one has been shot by the president’s secret police, you have no idea if he or she is dead, and you are then blocked from seeing them at the hospital.

ICE claims Garcés Perez had a final order of removal to be deported. Regardless, his attorney stated the obvious: a person’s immigration status is not a license for masked thugs to recklessly shoot at them on the streets of America.
“Even if he did have a final order of removal, he did not deserve to be shot in the back of the neck, and his wife did not deserve to be kicked off of hospital grounds,” Garcés Perez’s attorney Kate Lincoln-Goldfinch told NewsNation. “It is time for us to really stand up and not allow for this to continue to go on in the United States of America. We have had it, we are fed up, and the midterms are coming.”

This latest ICE terrorism comes at the same time Attorney General Todd Blanche has openly previewed ICE agents hovering around election polls in November for the midterm elections.
“I’m not sure of the uproar of the risk of having Border Patrol or an ICE agent at a polling location or looking into whether is voting who shouldn’t be,” Blanche said earlier this year. If you are here illegally, you can not vote so…what’s the risk?”
