As for these financial elites, they truly are despicable. Don’t forget not only did they put these shoddy mortgages together and sold them as safe, they bet against them and made a fortune. It’s fraud at minimum and yet nothing happened and these banks ended up being gifted almost 700 BILLION of our tax dollars. And families who lost their homes and life savings got nothing.
And since they got away with it it’s only been worse since then. Exponentially worse.
