Why the Real Biden "Cover Up" Was Hatched Before He Took Office

CNN's Jake Tapper's is being celebrated for co-authoring a book exposing the Biden presidential "cover up" of his cognitive decline; but the reality is Tapper and co. covered it up in the first place.

As Trump 2.0 descends into full-on fascism, there is no way to defeat him, or the next iteration of him, without acknowledging—and rectifying—one of the biggest reasons the nation got to this point.

A year before the 2020 general election, to anyone with functioning eyes and ears, it was abundantly clear that Joe Biden was not capable of running for president—much less fully, or effectively, carrying out the duties of president.

That is, of course, anyone but CNN’s Jake Tapper, the co-author of the much buzzed-about new Biden presidential tell-all, “Original Sin,” or his cadre of cohorts from the sewers of CNN-MSNBC-NY Times-Washington Post-Politico and the rest of the Beltway blowhards.

That’s why as early as 2019, I was doing what actual journalists should do; accurately report what was evident to objective, critically-thinking individuals. In video after video, I pointed out that, contrary to the political journalists’ spinning Biden’s verbal diarrhea as '“gaffes,” or a lifelong stutter (that somehow never appeared during his 40 year Senate/VP career), Biden was clearly showing alarming signs of cognitive deterioration.

For those who need a refresher on the 2020 campaign trail, the full demands of which, to Biden’s good fortune, were sharply reduced due to the COVID pandemic, candidate Biden:

• Forgot President Obama’s name, flailing to remember the man he served to the point he could only muster “my boss.”

• Confused President Trump with President George W. Bush.

• Flubbed labeling himself an “Obama-Biden” Democrat, bizarrely calling himself an “O'Biden-Bama Democrat."

• Pitched himself as running for the U.S. Senate rather than the presidency.

• Confused Fox News anchor Chris Wallace with NBC’s Chuck Todd.

• Confused British Prime Minister Theresa May with long-dead British PM Margaret Thatcher.

• Jumbled the Declaration of Independence’s “all men and women are created equally.”

• Fumbled the phrase “we choose truth over lies,” instead uttering “we choose truth over facts.”

• Falsely claimed he worked as a coal miner, was shot at in Iraq, and marched in the Civil Rights movement.

• Falsely claimed he was arrested in South Africa trying to see Nelson Mandela in prison.

• Wrongly claimed he met with Parkland school shooting survivors while he was VP (the shooting happened two years later).

• Said “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids” before quickly correcting “white” with “rich” kids.

Needless to say, if a progressive populist candidate like….say…Bernie Sanders…made even one of these “gaffes,” or “stutters,” the Jake Tappers of the world, and the media networks who sign his multi-million dollar paycheck, would be harshly scrutinizing his age, demanding immediate transparency and documentation on his cognitive health, and launching a pressure campaign to force him out of the race.

But it was not progressive Bernie, it was corporate lifer Joe. The difference between the two—one posing a threat to the capitalist establishment, the other deeply embedded within it— led to the difference in reaction by elite corporate media. A response that, at the time, felt like a loosely-coordinated effort by legacy newspapers, TV news outlets, and digital sites to whitewash, or to borrow from Tapper’s new book, cover-up, the clear mental rotting of Biden’s brain as simple “gaffes,” or “Bidenisms,” or a “stutter.”

But, as Tapper and other journalists are now trying to rewrite history, and cashing in as they do it, modern American history actually began on January 20th, 2021—as did Biden’s cognitive decline. And with that demarcation, the entire string of five-alarm fires Biden exhibited before then ceased to exist.

But it wasn’t just Tapper; it was an open chatter bug among reporters on the campaign trail that something was seriously off with Biden. Anecdotally, I can tell you that while I reported on-the-ground in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina during the 2020 campaign, there were at least two instances where I overheard mainstream media journalists openly speculating amongst themselves about what was wrong with Biden; once in Iowa inside a hotel lobby bar and the other time at a campaign event by the press stage (and damn do I wish the noise in both rooms would have been lower so I could’ve have recorded both conversations on my phone!)

But don’t just take it from me; in March of 2020, filmmaker Michael Moore shared details of conversations he was having with alarmed Democratic Party insiders. As Moore recounted, they were very worried about Biden’s mental mush.

“Over these past 10 days, there is not one longtime Democrat, well-known Democrat, party functionary, that I’ve spoken to that has not—off the record—admitted to me that there is a problem with Joe Biden. And when they say that, they are primarily speaking about something has happened, or something is wrong, what they describe to me as cognitive decline,” Moore said on his podcast.

But Tapper and co. ignored Moore, and the long list of aforementioned Biden cognitive clunkers, and presented to the public the equivalent of a hobbled, one-legged general as ready for an epic final battle of the war.

And five years later, they are now gaslighting the country, and apparently what will be hundreds of thousands of book readers, into thinking none of them knew anything before Biden took office…

It was Biden who hid his condition from us, they would have you believe. It was his White House, family, and inner circle too.

Simply put: it’s all bullshit.

Why does any of it matter now as President Trump dismantles crucial social safety net programs, government agencies, constitutional rights, human rights, and basic decency?

Well, you can’t defeat fascism—hell even knock a dent into it—fighting with one hand tied behind your back. And by covering up Biden’s condition—when he was a candidate—while there was still time to put up a someone else, Tapper and his fellow Johnny-Come-Lately journalists left Americans who desperately wanted to stop Trump, and the fascism he represents, fighting with our collective hands tied behind our back.

This led to a severely compromised Biden narrowly ending Trump’s initial horror before predictably ushering him right back in.

So as Tapper does his tour-de-spin book tour, and the rest of the corporate media pretend the Biden cognitive “cover up” occurred during his presidency, remember, journalists are supposed to serve as the people’s eyes and ears.

Tragically, for the two-year campaign to permanently defeat Donald Trump, Tapper and the his fellow journalists intentionally shut both sets of there’s off.

And that’s the real “original sin.”
