While rightly condemning the political violence that took the powerful right-wing activist's life, most media is ignoring what lies underneath the toxic, mass distraction campaign he and others wage
“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” - John F. Kennedy
"Charlie Kirk didn’t deserve to die for his political views." - Jordan Chariton
Charlie Kirk was not murdered simply for his political views. When political views result in state sponsored policies that inflict violence and death upon others and our institutions of law and order do nothing about it, justice must be served by the people. We are told this is wrong.
Charlie Kirk incited violence against black and brown people, the LGTBQ community, and he championed the Palestinian g***cde. Charlie Kirk promoted ICE and the arrest of innocents without Constitutional due process. This is violence. Farmers and gardeners and factory workers, deported to concentration camps. Families are torn apart. Governors do nothing but we are told violence is not the answer. United Healthcare commits systematic violence. People die so that others profit but we are told violence is not the answer.
Wake up. Charlie Kirk made $12 million preaching hate. All of Washington, the Pentagon, Congress, the media, our police and military, our Supreme Court and, yes, Presidents instigate violence against the people at home and abroad. There are no consequences for state sponsored violence. Voting and peaceful protesting are weapons used by the oligarchy to placate the masses. What we need is revolutionary change. Power must be seized.
Jewish people are attempting to “undermine traditional American values.” Kirk
"George Floyd is a scumbag" Kirk
"I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights." Kirk
Assassinations are not necessarily “state-sponsored.” It is an assassination if the person murdered is a current or former government official, as in Minnesota.
The nine members of the Mother Bethel A.M.E. Church in Charleston, SC, who were murdered by white supremacist Dylan Roof were all African Americans attending Bible study, but the senior pastor who was murdered was also a state legislator, so his death was an assassination.
Thank you for this informative and brilliant article! You show that Trump, Kirk, Vance et al. bring an odious reactionary approach to politics with an unhinged, brutal , unreconstructed racist agenda. Clearly MAGA has tapped into a deep strain of white supremacy coupled with “rage against the machine. You give the facts on contemporary capitalism that has relentlessly shafted the poor, the working class and the middle class. Look how easy it’s been to channel that legitimate rage into intolerance for LGBTQ, blacks (DEI), women, and immigrants. As the economy worsens, can Fox News and the right wing keep the lid on the anger? Can the Dems wake up and see the working class are their natural base? The GOP is getting desperate as more money flows to the top one percent and their voters recognize that the Trump economic plan leaves them behind.
On cue, the Trump/MAGA/Musk/FoxNews/GOP social media machine response to Charlie Kirk’s death is coordinated and designed to insight more violence and a distraction from the Epstein files.
Trump’s FBI has dragged their feet on finding the shooter, misidentified 3 different people as the shooter, falsely reported each one of them to the media without actual proof that they even had the correct shooter, purposely did a poor job of retracting their statements to the public at large…which is helping to gin up Trump‘s base.
To date Kirk’s shooter still has not been identified/found, no response from the FBI on the shootings of the school children, meaningful action on the recent murders of Melissa Hortman and her husband…AND no one has been fired at the FBI. This is not normal.
I wonder if Charlie Kirk is really dead because no one from his family or even his closest friends have come forward to say anything. Trump was quick to lower the flag to half staff (inappropriate), and spew inflammatory statements from the Oval Office. Additionally, Trump has failed to reach out to Kirk’s wife or extended family. This is not normal.
I’m gonna have to go full conspiracy on this one…
Kirks death is starting to feel like a JFK grassy knoll moment and directly aligns with the supposed attempt on Trump‘s life (the actual deaths on that day was planned collateral damage for optics).
Either Kirk is NOT dead and needed an exit ramp to get away from MAGA to keep his family safe because it was becoming difficult for him to remain loyal to Trump…after Trump refused to release the Epstein files…or if Kirk is dead, he was double-crossed, and murdered because (allegedly) a certain orange authoritarian felt threatened and wants to remain in power.
It may be time to look into Charlie Kirk’s finances to see if he was getting his affairs in order early.
Thank you Jordan Chariton & those sources contributing to this First Step Think Piece on strategic role Charlie Kirk filled as conductor\contractor of the Muddled Class Distraction Industry! Kirk was not a Lone Wolf and I look forward to better investigative reporting on the networks of the Distraction Industry that Charlie Kirk fed and liaised with.

"Throughout the 1890s, Wells documented lynching of African-Americans in the United States in articles and through pamphlets such as Southern Horrors: Lynch Law in all its Phases and The Red Record, which debunked the fallacy frequently voiced by whites at the time – that all Black lynching victims were guilty of crimes."
"Wells exposed the brutality of lynching, and analyzed its sociology, arguing that whites used lynching to terrorize African Americans in the South because they represented economic and political competition—and thus a threat of loss of power—for whites. She aimed to demonstrate the truth about this violence and advocate for measures to stop it.[3]"
"Wells was born into slavery in Holly Springs, Mississippi. She was freed as an infant under the Emancipation Proclamation, when Union Army troops captured Holly Springs. At the age of 14,[4] she lost both her parents and her infant brother in the 1878 yellow fever epidemic. She got a job teaching and kept the rest of the family together with the help of her grandmother, later moving with some of her siblings to Memphis, Tennessee..."
"Soon, Wells co-owned and wrote for the Memphis Free Speech and Headlight newspaper, where her reporting covered incidents of racial segregation and inequality. Eventually, her investigative journalism was carried nationally in Black-owned newspapers. Subjected to continued threats and criminal violence, including when a white mob destroyed her newspaper office and presses, Wells left Memphis for Chicago, Illinois. She married Ferdinand L. Barnett in 1895 and had a family while continuing her work writing, speaking, and organizing for civil rights and the women's movement for the rest of her life."
"Wells was outspoken regarding her beliefs as a Black female activist and faced regular public disapproval, sometimes including from other leaders within the civil rights movement and the women's suffrage movement. She was active in women's rights and the women's suffrage movement, establishing several notable women's organizations."
"A skilled and persuasive speaker, Wells traveled nationally and internationally on lecture tours.[5] Wells died on March 25, 1931, in Chicago, and in 2020 was posthumously honored with a Pulitzer Prize special citation "for her outstanding and courageous reporting on the horrific and vicious violence against African Americans during the era of lynching."[6]

"Before I read this book, I would have thought that psychological warfare was basically strong propaganda. No longer. This was the idea promoted by early US academic researchers into mass communication. Much of their work was funded by and carried out for the US military. The military had its own definition of psychological warfare."
"A 1948 US Army document stated that: "Psychological warfare employs any weapon to influence the mind of the enemy. The weapons are psychological only in the effect they produce and not because of the nature of the weapons themselves. In this light, overt (white), covert (black) and gray propaganda; subversion; sabotage; special operations; guerrilla warfare; espionage; political, cultural, economic, and racial pressures are all effective weapons" (emphasis in original). So-called "special operations" include activities behind enemy lines including sabotage and assassination."
"Christopher Simpson's book is about the way US government and military priorities influenced the development of US academic research into mass communication. He provides a wealth of detail into the connections. The military funded the majority of early academic research in the field. For example, the US Air Force provided at least half of the budget of the Bureau of Social Science Research in the 1950s. Military contracts supported studies at this Bureau such as the vulnerabilities of Eastern European peoples for the purposes of psychological warfare and comparisons of the effectiveness of "drugs, electroshock, violence, and other coercive techniques during interrogation of prisoners."
"Academic communication researchers did classified studies for the military but also published sanitised versions in academic forums, with seldom a mention of their military sponsorship. Almost all of the key figures in the field, such as Wilbur Schramm, Hadley Cantril and Harold Lasswell, did substantial work on psychological warfare for the military in the years after World War II."
"One result of the massive military sponsorship of US communication research was that the main perspectives in the field were in tune with military priorities. Specifically, both the content and method of communication research was oriented to the goals of domination and manipulation of mass audiences."
"Science of Coercion is an excellent study of how ideas in a field can be shaped by powerful groups. Most revealing is the way in which the researchers themselves allowed this to happen. Many of them were mildly progressive politically, yet they seemed to have no reservations about being involved in military-sponsored projects. Simpson argues that the most important factor in helping the academic researchers to accept the military connection was insulation from the effects of psychological warfare, especially the use of violence."
"Simpson provides extensive documentation for his argument: there are only 115 pages of text and over 60 pages of notes. Given that it is strictly about the US experience, it would be nice to have a comparison with experiences in other countries. His study provides a worrying reminder about the extent to which standard ideas in many a field of research may be directly and indirectly shaped to serve the interests of both powerful interest groups and elite academics."

Stephen Miller goes on Sean Hannity several weeks ago and VOCIFEROUSLY denounces the Democratic Party as illegitimate, labelling them a DOMESTIC TERROR GROUP and promising to eradicate them with the full weight of the Trump Regime. Between then and now, CRICKETS in the legacy media and not much more than a whisper in social media, likely due to corporate suppression of engagement á la shadow banning.

The effect, very likely intended and planned, is an unharnessing of a RAGE from the Right unlike any seen since 9/11, which in contrast to the killing of Charlie Kirk took more than THREE THOUSAND LIVES, and the stoking of a heretofore unprecedented bloodlust and promise of VENGEANCE on the Left.

First of all, it wasn’t an “assassination.” He wasn’t a government official. He was murdered, period.
And yet we taxpayers are paying $3,300 per minute to have AF 1 retrieve his body to ship to AZ. Kirk is a millionaire with millionaire backers?
It was actually AF2, and the Vice President of the United States accompanied his body at taxpayer expense.
