It is fairly noteworthy that El-Sayed is rallying with Clyburn—progressives and Bernie Sanders supporters will remember Clyburn’s endorsement for Joe Biden in South Carolina during the 2020 Democratic Primary was crucial to the then-sinking Biden campaign’s victory in South Carolina. Over the years, Clyburn has also routinely come in to close congressional and senate races and campaigned for the establishment candidates over progressive challengers (he campaigned for corporate Democrat Shontel Brown over progressive Nina Turner before their 2022 congressional contest).
Then at 3pm est, Jordan will be LIVE from El-Sayed’s “Knock out the Vote” rally from Detroit.
