Our return comes in the aftermath of a highly misleading video, from a right wing “journalist,” going viral—and sparking MAGA hysteria—over what he falsely claimed was widespread daycare fraud being perpetrated by large swaths of the Somali community in Minneapolis (watch our JT Cestkowski break down and debunk the misinformation pushed by MAGA YouTuber Nick Shirley).

To be clear, the overwhelming majority of the Somali community Shirley—and the president of the United States—have been targeting is comprised of LEGAL U.S. citizens. Yet Trump, in a brazenly racist speech referred to Somali Americans as “garbage” and said he wants them out.

This has gone along with weeks of ICE terror perpetrated on Somali resident of Minneapolis— much of which we have exposed ON-THE-GROUND in Minneapolis—that continues to terrorize residents and activists in the Twin Cities.

We’ll be reporting for several days tracking ICE raids—as well as the unfortunate influx of right wing charlatans banging on doors at random daycares demanding to “see the children” (umm creepy!).
