We CONFRONTED FASCISM LIVE for Over 6 Hours (Video & Photos)
Last night, we were LIVE FOR 6+ HOURS as ICE troops terrorized & pushed unarmed protesters into oncoming truck traffic— and ICE prison guards BEAT prisoners on hunger strike. CAN YOU STEP UP?
Status Coup is the LEADING INDEPENDENT NATIONAL NEWS OUTLET covering ON-THE-GROUND what the corporate media COVERS UP. Frankly, we are struggling to STAY ON THE GROUND as expenses over the last year of our nationwide ON-THE-GROUND ICE coverage are near $100,000—and we don’t have a corporations funding us. If you believe that actual ON-THE-GROUND guerrilla journalism matters, we sincerely ask you to JOIN our media movement TODAY.
Six hours and 17 minutes.
That is how long I reported live yesterday ON-THE-GROUND—alongside with our incredible video journalists Jon Farina and Will Allen-DuPraw—outside Delaney Hall ICE prison on what was Day 7 of a massive prisoner hunger and labor strike.
WATCH BELOW OUR LIVESTREAM
**Assuming you don’t have six hours and 17 minutes of time to watch, we marked the entire livestream up with topic descriptions at specific time codes visual for you to scroll through to the most important part**
Throughout our marathon livestream—in which all 3 three of us were repeatedly pepper sprayed, intentionally visually obstructed by ICE agents pointing their flash lights in our eyes as we conducted interviews, and physically targeted several times by ICE agents—we reported and uncovered:
Prisoners were beaten & bloodied by guards inside as retaliation against prisoners continuing a massive hunger & labor strike over tortuous conditions.
ICE Prison guards pepper sprayed prisoners while turning the vents off—which is a form of gassing prisoners (and illegal torture).
Several prisoners were carted out on stretchers into ambulances and hospitalized after severe beatings (WATCH the video we captured).
Paramilitary ICE troopers attacked hundreds of unarmed protesters in the middle of the street outside the ICE prison—as oncoming mega truck traffic whizzed both ways.
Paramilitary ICE troops pushing unarmed protesters into oncoming cars.
Paramilitary ICE troops pepper sprayed unarmed protesters and journalists.
Paramilitary ICE troops crushing unarmed protesters with their batons.
Paramilitary ICE troops attacking unarmed women and then dragging them on the ground to the back of the prison—illegally detaining them.
Paramilitary ICE troops attacking journalists & intentionally destroying their camera equipment (hard to replace if independent and not corporate funded).
Paramilitary ICE troops threatening unarmed protesters with tasers.
Paramilitary ICE troops giggling and laughing as protesters called them concentration camp guards.

We also reported and covered some beautiful moments including protesters singing hopeful songs like “Lean on Me,” a group of older female protesters singing and dancing in the middle of the street, indigenous protesters banging on drums and chanting native mantras, and more.
I CAN PROUDLY REPORT TO YOU WE WERE THE ONLY NATIONAL NEWS OUTLET ON THE GROUND FOR HOURS WITH THE PEOPLE.
I saw a CNN reporter for about an hour; he did a live “hit” on the network and then disappeared (typical for mainstream media). I did not see anyone from the other major networks. I did see a journalistic army of INDEPENDENT journalists and streamers risking their bodies to show you the fascist war the Trump regime has declared on the American people and immigrants.
If you don’t know, this is not our first rodeo. Over the last year, we have reported ON-THE-GROUND covering Trump’s ICE terror campaign in LA, NYC, NJ, FL, D.C., Chicago, Charlotte, and Minneapolis. This reporting is VERY expensive and we’re INDEPENDENTLY funded. Please support us for as low as $5 a month. Straight up…if more people don’t sign up as paying members, we’re going to have to scale back as expenses are piling up.
So…think about it. What do you spend as little as $5 bucks a month on that you don’t even realize? A subscription you forgot you had? A subscription you don’t really even use that much. A product or service you don’t really need or value?
Well…cancel and move that 16 cents a day to justice journalism!

This should be headline news 24/7 on TV and other news channels. Where are they?
Thank Status Coup for reporting the truth.
