Just when you think we’ve reached bottom as a nation, Trump’s storm troopers take us lower.

That’s what went through my mind watching our ON-THE-GROUND reporting yesterday outside of the Broadview Detention Center near Chicago as a swat team level of Border Patrol encroached upon unarmed, peaceful protesters politely telling them to hit the road Jack.

“Get the f*ck out of the public street, thank you very much,” 70-year-old U.S. Air Force Veteran Dana Briggs yelled at heavily armed border patrol agents. “You’re the ones impeding our progress...get out!”Briggs said while non-aggressively urging the G.I. Jackasses to retreat back to the ICE prison rather than harassing protesters on the street (watch video shot by our Jon Farina above).

That’s when the border patrol agents playing out their Call of Duty fever dreams went wild.

“Clear out of the way!” agents yelled as they pushed Briggs; he fell backwards slamming his head on the street pavement. As a fellow protester came to his aide, border patrol agents encircled him…to arrest him.

Our footage shows that as Briggs asked a protester to take his phone, his arm accidentally swung up and lightly grazed a border patrol agent. This caused the agent to SNAP, attacking him further.

Then two other agents joined in, leading to a mosh pit of three fake tough guys pinning down an elderly, defenseless veteran.

And, in these insane and authoritarian times, Briggs—the veteran assaulted by border patrol agents—has now been charged with felony assault for accidentally lightly grazing a border patrol agent.

Meanwhile, since the mainstream media won’t inform anyone that all of this is an authoritarian distraction from what’s REALLY going on:

• 1.2 million fewer jobs were created over last 16 months than previously reported by the government

• Late rental payments are skyrocketing across America

• There is a surge in Americans living in RVs

• Recent graduate unemployment rate is rising faster than all other workers combined

• Grocery prices are up more in 2025 than 2024 (so much for Trump lowering them)

• 500,000 more people selling houses than buying (the largest imbalance ever recorded)

• Real unemployment rate is near 25% when accounting for unemployed people who can’t find anything but part-time work or make poverty wage

• America’s billionaires are now worth $5.7 trillion

Translated: Trump is creating a Battlefield America to distract you from the 40-year economic hunger games finally swallowing us all up whole.
