Crime has increased exponentially in Nebraska. My city of Lincoln and neighbor, Omaha, has never seen the amount of violent and bizzare crime. The amount of traffic violations causing much harm and death and major insurance increases- the car insurance companies have verified there are more serious accidents and higher pricing of parts are the cause, along w uninsured or underinsured drivers.

On my doorstep alone, and is happening almost daily in my neighborhood, once thought to be one of the safest neighborhoods here, I had 2 different drugged out people within two months try to bust into my home. One welding a knife and trying to speak, not English, but what what a garbled something while he was yelling into my window to let him in. Police did nothing but remove him. Two days later, across town, a man who looked like him acosted a man w a bike, killed him w a knife and stole the bike. This is what we are letting in. The other was a local high school kid, said to have been caught with drugs at school, wanting to hide them. Busted out windows and windows wells. Again, police did nothing but release to parents. Wouldn't it be nice to get the kid some help? Either of them. Instead, the crime goes on and on, unabashed. Growing, causing more hate and distrust and fear. It's wreckless.
