Honestly, with the amazing work you are doing, I'd think you'd partner up with anyone who would maximize the reach of your content. I guess you could ' nickel and dime,' seeking compensation over and above the donations for your supposed non-profit efforts. Or, resist, shrink the reach and play right into the hands of this fascist regime. I guess I am saying, do better. If you want payment, stop seeking donations for support. Go commercial and for profit.
It is standard practice for networks to pay to license reporting from other networks. It's not something we've made up. As a small, independent outlet that has no corporate funding-we rely on licensing revenue to help fund our expensive travel costs (and it barely makes a dent in our costs). Our main funding comes from the people--that is how we are able to stay on-the-ground. But we won't apologize for charging standard licensing fees for our footage (which other media outlets do as well).

There’s been a lot of YouTubers who have had to deal it their channel names in the docs they sent ay for and others steal it. Most of those documents cost a lot of money and it’s wrong to use other peoples content. I’m surprised Kimmel wouldn’t pay.i exited twitter or x because the language got so vile no matter what I did or didn’t say. I’m on fb but I only check in once a yr. Trump has trashed it also.i watch and hit the like button on all of your posts! I proudly donate what I can every month and it saddens me that I can no longer see the members only posts.
