SICK Residents BEGGING for Help After Lithium Battery Plant Fire - LIVE from Prunedale, CA
Tina-Desiree Berg is LIVE in California talking to residents affected by the Lithium Factory Fire
Independent journalist Tina-Desiree Berg is LIVE from Prunedale, California, about 10 miles away from the massive Moss Landing Lithium battery plant fire, interviewing Sherry Okamoto, a resident who like so many others, has been suffering with serious health issues since the fire broke out for several days in mid-January.
The fire has not only sickened residents near and as far as 50 miles away from the lithium plant—it has also potentially contaminated the crops farmed in the area known as the "Salad Bowl of America.” It’s called this because this area in Northern California produces 70% of America's vegetables including lettuce, broccoli, spinach, artichokes, cauliflower, celery (and also lots of fruits including strawberries and blueberries).
