Down the street from the first national Somali mall in the U.S., ICE terrorized the local Minneapolis Somali community on Monday—with agents literally dragging and kneeling down on a woman bystanders repeatedly shouted was pregnant.
"“Please let her go! She’s pregnant!” bystanders shouted as an ICE agent pressed his knee down on the woman. “She’s pregnant and they’ve got their fu*king knees on her and her stomach on the ground!”
As a crowd of local residents grew larger, ICE agents fired pepper balls guns as well as taser guns—along with pepper spray. Residents could be heard and seen gasping and coughing from the chemical irritants unleashed on them.
“I just seen a pregnant lady get dragged through the streets for no reason man, this is messed up America…you all know whose fault this is, that orange man sitting in the office,” a resident told our videojournalist Jon Farina.
