SCANDAL: Norfolk Southern's Nuking of East Palestine is CRIMINAL, Ex-Vice President Al Gore Told Resident
"He looked at me and said what they're doing to you people is criminal...that's from our ex vice president," Darren Gamble told our Louis DeAngelis
In an emotional and infuriating interview, East Palestine residents Darren and Stella Gamble told Status Coup’s Louis DeAngelis that the former Vice President of the United States said Norfolk Southern’s chemical detonation over East Palestine is CRIMINAL (short clip above).
“He looked at me and he said ‘Darren, what they’re doing to you people is criminal’; I mean that’s from our ex vice president,” Darren told Louis.

To date, there have been no criminal charges, much less a criminal investigation opened, into Norfolk Southern’s decision to intentionally detonate 1.1 million pounds of vinyl chloride over East Palestine and the surrounding areas.
In the interview, Stella Gamble told Louis that her health problems linked to the Norfolk Southern derailment and detonation have come back after her and her husband moved back into their home over the holidays (they had temporarily relocated outside of town for months in 2023).
“For the past week my symptoms are back now,” Stella told Status Coup. “They’re back as bad, or worse, than they were from the beginning. I have tingling through my whole body, dizziness, disorientation, intestinal issues, headaches—some days I can’t even get out of my chair.”
