Less than 24 hours after Trump’s ICE storm troopers killed 37-year-old mother Renee Nicole Good, our videojournalist Jon Farina was LIVE early this morning as hundreds of Minneapolis protesters demonstrated against ICE outside of the Whipple Federal Building—where ICE has been taking the immigrants they abduct. A woman wearing a pink hat screamed at ICE agents as they pointed guns at her.

”F*ck you! Evil! Where's the f*cking humanity? Why don't you back the f*ck up off our people? Stop f*cking killing us! You guys are evil mother f*ckers! You should be marching with us!"

Another woman bravely got up in front of a row of ICE agents and Border Patrol to rhetorically attack their lack of conscience.

“Murdering a mother of a 6-year-old child, you're in the wrong place in your soul. God help you! God help you! Every one of us has to look at the choices we make in this world…no amount of money is worth what happened. Walk away! You can walk away! You don’t have to do this! Everyone has to follow their own conscience. You have to grapple with the fact that a 37-year-old mother was murdered by ICE yesterday in cold blood! She left a 6-year-old son. Her son's name is Emerson; Emerson does not have a mother today because one of you murdered a woman in cold blood yesterday!"

“They are Terrorizing the Population”

An Afghanistan War veteran spoke out against ICE’s unethical and illegal tactics.

"They are terrorizing the population, in Afghanistan we never wore masks, I went on four deployments, the only time we would wear a face covering maybe if it was cold…if you’re fighting the cartels and you’re actually on the border, fine, if you want to protect your identity—totally makes sense. They’re wearing all this gear for no reason. This is coming from the top. ICE should not be running around in plate carriers against civilians. It’s here to intimidate everyone here. In Afghanistan…if you came in and you intimidated the local populous like this and you beat up a bunch of people, they would hit back, that’s how it works there. Americans are just very nice.”

As protesters chanted, “ICE go home!,” ICE and Border Patrol agents pushed, dragged, and tear gassed Minneapolis protesters.
