Louis DeAngelis & Jon Farina are already hitting the ground running on their fifth reporting trip to East Palestine OH in one year (the 1 year anniversary of Norfolk Southern’s derailment/detonation is on 2/3).

Yesterday, within a half hour of being back in East Palestine, Louis showed that Norfolk Southern railroad cars and chemical tanker cars are once again speeding through town (after a brief slow-down period after the derailment). WATCH CLIP below:

I am going to be completely real you—it’s becoming harder and harder to fund this ON-THE-GROUND reporting. I think a lot of news consumers take it for granted how hard, and how expensive, it is to fund real on-scene reporting without any major corporate funding (which we are proud not to take).
