It seems probable that SmallHands will escalate the chaos in Iran after 4PM today (Friday, 27-Mar-26), after the stock market has closed for most traders until Monday. He said he would wait until April 6 to strike (below), but when he comes to dates of aggression, he lies as a matter of course, believing in some too cute by half misdirection ploy that fools no one, he will lull Iran into unpreparedness. In his warped mind, it seems likely that he will undertake some insane escalation as a No Kings3 protest distraction:

“Trump extends pause on striking Iranian energy plants by 10 days; BBC; 26-Mar-26; https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cre0vl84qy9t?page=6 President Trump has posted on Truth Social, extending a pause on striking Iranian energy plants, which he announced on Monday. He also says talks between the US and Iran are "ongoing". The post says:

"As per Iranian Government request, please let this statement serve to represent that I am pausing the period of Energy Plant destruction by 10 Days to Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8 P.M., Eastern Time. Talks are ongoing and, despite erroneous statements to the contrary by the Fake News Media, and others, they are going very well. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP"”

EDIT: A BBC article that dropped after my post seems to agree: Diplomats say expectations are low. "There is a lot of smoke and mirrors," one said. "There is scepticism that a trusted channel of communication that can bear some load will emerge." But for now the president insists talks are taking place and they are going well. However, delaying an attack on energy infrastructure also gives the US time to prepare for that attack - and maybe more. All these forces are going to take time to assemble, time Trump has just bought himself. But to what end? Is the president giving himself military options? Is he actually planning a ground invasion of strategic locations in Iran?
