• JT Cestkowski broke that two Democratic Governor candidates in Wisconsin backed out of the Muslim Civic Alliance forum last night right before it happened—after they were sent the questions in advance about the Gaza genocide. They were told they would be asked Yes or No questions on if they think Israel committed a genocide. When the candidates pushed back, the Muslim Civic Alliance told them they would give them more time to provide longer answers—yet they still backed out. The Wisconsin Democratic Primary for Governor is currently close between Dem Socialism Francesca Hong and Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez.

• Newark police dodged Jordan when he asked if they will be charging the GEO Group employee who assaulted the Delaney Hall protester on Saturday. Newark Police told me that Homeland Security Investigations is handling it. Jordanwent back and forth with them on why that was nonsense given this was a visual assault at a private prison in the city of Newark—therefore under the jurisdiction of the police.
