We traveled from FL to attend the march. What a disappointment in the crowd size. I thought this would be monumental in crowed size, but NOPE. Yes, there were many that attended, but nothing to what I have experienced in the past. The location looked like to be that it was going to be at the National Mall, according to the flyer/picture for the march, and there was no address given on the flyer to where it was supposed to be held. It ended up that about a 1/4 of the people ended up at the stairs of the Lincoln Memorial and the other 3/4 attended the rally at the 6th St. But still, the "do nothing" dems stayed home again. It seems only some of us care. We cannot win that way.
I wish you did not have that abomination up there otherwise I would share it. I am so proud of you for protesting, we need our country back. The country many before you fought for our democracy. Thank you veterans!
excellent job interviewing folks on the ground, I enjoyed getting the full picture and not just watching the speeches-- which were also incredibly well delivered. and thanks for your continuing coverage, please stay safe.
NOT ENOUGH. Seriously. I was so disappointed. Bad communications led a 1/4 of the people to the National Mall, as pictured on the "flyer", or postings on reddit, substack, etc. That's where we first went. Then we walked around until we saw "the staging" equipment and people w/ signs on 6th Av. Many of the protesters ended up staying and waiting around the mall for the rally. I later saw a picture posted of a crowd later in the day still hanging around (that started at noon). That's no way to get people together.
Have clear cut instructions of where the address or location will be. The people who remained at the National Mall really missed out. And there's no telling how far they drove to be there. We drove from Florida and when I didn't see the podium and speakers, I knew it was taking somewhere else. It's sad that they didn't find the rally. How disappointing 😞
Thank you for broadcasting the March today. I’m sickened that our gov’t is letting us down.
