Status Coup reporter JT Cestkowski is LIVE outside the Dirksen Federal Courthouse in Chicago as protesters demonstrate against border patrol chief Greg Bovino, who is inside the courthouse after being ordered to appear before a Judge over border patrol repeatedly violating a federal Judge’s Sarah Ellis’ order for border patrol to stop tear gassing peaceful protesters and wear—and turn on—body cameras at all times.
Both border patrol and ICE have repeatedly violated the Judge’s order. Following the Judge’s order, video showed border patrol chief Bovino violating the Judge’s order in the Hispanic neighborhood of Little Village—launching tear gas at residents during an immigration raid.
Over the weekend, Status Coup captured incredible footage of MULTIPLE invasions and attacks of ICE and border patrol
ICE breaking into a home in the wealthy neighborhood of Lakeview during a raid of construction workers (leaving one worker injured and with a trail of blood inside the home)
ICE smashing a car window and abducting two people (for apparently no reason other than racial profiling).
