"We don't detain American citizens," Noem testified under oath. We have 2 months of ON-THE-GROUND reporting in Minnesota proving she lied (federal perjury is punishable up to 5 years in prison!)
Trading Stupid Beyond Belief For Fundamentally And Completely Stupid:
Trump said Noem will be "moving to be Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas, our new Security Initiative in the Western Hemisphere we are announcing on Saturday in Doral, Florida." He also said Mullin will start on March 31, calling him a "A MAGA Warrior" who "truly gets along well with people, and knows the Wisdom and Courage required to Advance our America First Agenda." "Markwayne will work tirelessly to Keep our Border Secure, Stop Migrant Crime, Murderers, and other Criminals from illegally entering our Country, End the Scourge of Illegal Drugs and, MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN."
Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court [ICC]. On 17 July 1998 in Rome, 160 nations decided to establish a permanent ICC to try individuals for the most serious offences of global concern, such as genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
7. Will the Court prosecute sexual crimes? Yes. 12. When will the Court have jurisdiction over crimes? …Non-party States may also accept the Court's jurisdiction on a case-by-case basis. The Court will also have jurisdiction over cases referred to it by the Security Council whether or not the State concerned is a party to the Statute (see question 15). 15. What role will the UN Security Council have in the Court's work? The … Security Council, acting under Chapter VII of the UN Charter, may refer a "situation" to the Court when one or more of the crimes covered by the Statute appears to have been committed. … Since the referral of a situation by the Security Council is based on its competence under Chapter VII which is binding and legally enforceable in all States, the exercise of the Court's jurisdiction becomes part of the enforcement measures. It's jurisdiction becomes binding even when neither the State in whose territory crimes have been committed nor the State of nationality of the accused is a party. This jurisdiction, resulting from a Security Council referral, enhances the role of the Court in enforcing international criminal law. At the same time, the Court's jurisdiction is expanded to cover even non-party States, in these instances.…
“Greetings and salutations. I hope you are doing well. Dr. Williams here once again with a brief message.
What makes it undesirable for those who would be part of the imperial center? That's what modern-day authoritarian imperialists imagine themselves to be (MAGA-Trumpians) if they are able to achieve all the criminally insane goals the regime---i.e. "the IN group" obsessively strive for---and, for that just examine what life was like for the average German in Nazi Germany.
I am a "conscientious objector" physician, and I know I would have probably been killed had I grown up in Nazi Germany, not because of any act of heroic resistance---I would not have done that---but because of some facts with regards to everyday life in a totalitarian autocracy that most people tend to forget: which, stated simply, is the mere fact that a person had absolutely no recourse against representatives of the system if they chose to target you for any reason---be it, personal "And/or" political---in other words, the reality that you were forced to comply and just accept injustice against yourself in your everyday existence---or risk your life.
Then, of course, there were the humiliation rituals directed at those people who dared to love someone "racially inappropriate" or be in any kind of LGBTQIA relationship, or be romantically involved with anyone of the OUT-group with some other made-up dystopian "moral infraction" the authoritarian regime considered to be "degenerate."
Can you imagine the constant risk of personal and public denunciation for just the most minor and trivial of infractions that could very well make yourself, and indeed, your entire family a target for potential political persecution---up to and including, but not limited to---daily general harassment, prohibitive access to employment or business ownership, random beatings by officers of the regime, unlawful detainments and interrogations, imprisonment in a concentration "And/or" internment forced-labor prison camp, mistreatment while incarcerated with insufficient food, contaminated water, unsanitary living conditions, and complete lack of proper medical care, and quite possibly actual physical torture, medical experiments, and finally---death (which by that point was inevitable one way or the other.)
You see, the quality of life for a German in Nazi Germany was much better than for the people in the occupied territories, of course, however, the vast majority of the most basic of Constitutional freedoms and civil protections from fascist despotism we all take for granted were just not there---not for ANYONE---not even for those part of the system because you, your family, someone you love (guilt by association) could always be the target of some investigation (even completely false allegations) by those above you in the hierarchical organization of the authoritarian regime.
Indeed, then even if you are morally ambivalent about what happens to those around you unfortunate enough to be marked and targeted as being guilty of being considered as "the OTHER" and a member or associated with of the "OUT-group" in any type of way---believe me everybody still reading---you DO NOT want to live in such a system---one in which NOBODY is ever truly free from fear for themselves, their families "And/or" their romantic partners being constantly afraid for your lives...
"It Can't Happen Here" (1935) by Sinclair Lewis. "The novel describes the rise of Berzelius "Buzz" Windrip, a demagogue who is elected President of the United States, after fomenting fear and promising drastic economic and social reforms while promoting a return to patriotism and "traditional" values. After his election, Windrip takes complete control of the government via self-coup and imposes totalitarian rule with the help of a ruthless paramilitary force, in the manner of European fascists." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It_Can%27t_Happen_Here

Unlke Goerthe's Faust, here is what away those who made their deals with the Devil
Doctor Faustus; 1588-1592; by Christopher (Kit) Marlowe; Scene 13
FAUSTUS
Ah, Faustus,
Now hast thou but one bare hour to live,
And then thou must be damn’d perpetually!
This soul should fly from me, and I be chang’d
Unto some brutish beast! all beasts are happy,
For, when they die,
Their souls are soon dissolv’d in elements;
But mine must live still to be plagu’d in hell.
Curs’d be the parents that engender’d me!
No, Faustus, curse thyself, curse Lucifer
That hath depriv’d thee of the joys of heaven.
(Enter DEVILS.)
My God, my god, look not so fierce on me!
Adders and serpents, let me breathe a while!
Ugly hell, gape not! come not, Lucifer!
I’ll burn my books!—Ah, Mephistophilis!
[Exeunt with Mephistophilis.]
Noem told several lies that day! Some of the Dems are calling for an investigation of her perjury.
