ICE PULLS GUNS ON Observers, Arrests for Hand Gun Gestures?

Our videojournalist William Allen-DuPraw reported ON THE GROUND in Minneapolis on February 3rd, 2026 following ICE activities when he captured ICE agents cornering an ICE observer in an alley—and drawing their loaded guns on him (watch video above).
“Do not reach, hands on your face, hands on your face!” ICE agents scream at the driver in the parked car as they drew loaded guns at him.
When our Allen-DuPraw asked the ICE agents why they were arresting the observer, an agent provided a bizarre answer—claiming the day before these activists allegedly “threatened” them with supposed hand gun…gestures.
“Just so you know these guys were all threatening us yesterday with hand guns,” an ICE agent told us.
Allen-DuPraw then asked the agent to confirm that the observers they were arresting actually drew guns on the ICE agents. The agents answer quickly became less coherent:
“Hand guns, like threatening to shoot us,” the agent said, making a “bang bang” shooting gesture with his hand to describe how the arrested observers supposedly threatened them the day before with menacing hand gestures.
So, let’s get this straight: ICE agents can literally gun down U.S. citizens—shooting them in their heads while driving or in the back as they lie defensiveness on the ground—but activists legally observing their activist will now be arrested if…
ICE claims you made some phantom hand gesture appearing to shoot them with an invisible gun.
