Flint is 'HELL ON EARTH': SURGING Cancer, Water STILL TOXIC 10 Years Later
Jordan Chariton was on the ground in Flint, Michigan where residents and their families say they are still suffering.
Hey folks, it’s Ronnie.
Jordan and Jon are in West Virginia right now after a demanding weekend in Flint where they filmed interviews with countless residents STILL being poisoned a decade after the water crisis began.
Now, most of that film is being saved for editing where it will be turned into a documentary to commemorate the crisis’ 10th year.
However, you can get a sneak peak on our YouTube page. Yesterday Jordan spoke with Joelena Freeman, Flint resident and activist, about the devastating health effects she says her children began experiencing after the city switched over to the Flint river in 2014. Their adverse symptoms include rashes, welts, and depression/anxiety. Doctors and government are no help; Joelena said an allergist laughed in her face when questioned on the connection between the water and her daughter’s welts.
The expenses for a trip and documentary like this are exorbitant. It’s because of readers and supporters like you that Jordan can continue to follow these stories and document this ongoing humanitarian crisis, right here in the United States of America.
If you are in a position to, any donation helps us keep gas in the car and Jordan on the ground.
Now, on to West Virginia. The 10 year flint documentary will air first on Breaking Points this April, so keep an eye out for more information on that.
Thanks for covering!
