I teach at a public university in NYC. The sentiment of the bulk of the faculty and students is the same - sheer hatred towards the victim. Proportedly, a TA for a social justice course told the class that politicians should be killed instead of CEOs if the people are truly sincere about reducing healthcare costs in the US. Just sickening.

Is it ridiculous to see friends and family members die because of corporate GREED? Just like the right wing wingnut who believed that Hillary was running a pedophile ring in the basement of a DC pizza shop, that doesn’t have a basement, and showed up with an AR-15 to free the kids. People who have had loved one die because healthcare insurance companies’ only priority is maximizing profits will get frustrated and some will lash out. They’ve had politicians of both parties lie to them about fixing the healthcare system but never deliver.

So killing Thompson solved corporate greed? Please, fancy pants hurt himself taking a surf lesson in Hawaii. Quit your complaining.

It’s called FRUSTRATION. Americans have been lied to for 50 years. Middle class income, adjusted for inflation, is actually less now than it was 50 years ago. Always money for never ending wars. Always willingness to cut taxes for the rich and corporations. Never the will to fund education, healthcare or social safety nets.

It’s irresponsible to condone a ridiculous emotion - like frustration- for violence. Grow up, sir.

When the government is owned by billionaires and run by corporations that is pretty much the dictionary definition of Fascism. We’ve been a fascist country for many years. Now, with TrumpPutin it’s out in the open. These talking heads like Chris Cuomo and the rest of them are there to make sure Americans are kept in the dark about anything and everything important that doesn’t promote the power of the corporate state. Obviously, when they suggest we have “a conversation” about anything, they’ll talk about something else. Looks like, for one man at least, phony “conversation” time is over.
