BACK TO FLINT: Jordan ON-THE-GROUND as Federal Judge Holds City in Contempt for Still Not Replacing Corroded Lead Pipes DECADE LATER

I’m typing this as my flight is close to taking off to Flint Michigan. I’m proud to say this is my 20th reporting trip to the city over the last eight years—most of those with Status Coup. YOUR support has made it possibly for a small, scrappy independent outlet to stay on what, in my view, is the BIGGEST GOVERNMENT COVER UP of the 21st century. After a few days in Flint, we’ll be headed to West Virginia to cover MORE people being poisoned by corporate America and their government. And there’s NEWS: yesterday, a federal judge held the city of Flint in contempt for not fully replacing all of its busted corroded pipes—still delivering contaminated water to residents—10 YEARS AFTER THE DISASTROUS switch to the Flint River (April 25th is the 10-year anniversary).

There is A LOT more to the story of why—after an American city was poisoned by its own government—the pipes that were devastated by toxic river water have still not been replaced a decade later. That story will come out in my upcoming book, “We the Poisoned: Exposing the Flint Water Cover Up and the Poisoning of 100,000 Americans” (pre-order available now).

But over the next few days, Jon and I will be shooting a mini-documentary to show the reality of the STILL raging water water crisis—sick residents who are still waiting for their damaged infrastructure to be replaced, STILL waiting for criminal justice that seems like it might never come, and BEGGING the national and local media who abandoned their story to give a damn once again. We will show you that cancer rates are rising in Flint (and despite politicians playing dumb, it’s because of the toxic water residents consumed for years). We’ll show you that residents are getting physically sicker as the full effects of lead and heavy metals poisoning takes years to develop. We’ll also show you the mental health toll this has all taken on the good people of Flint.

And, of course, we will reveal the CORRUPTION that led to this American city being poisoned….and the ongoing corruption still taking place to cover the whole thing up and let the guilty go free.

In truth, the mainstream media long stopped caring about this. But I do. And I know you do. We will mostly be recording interviews while here for our 10-year-anniversary documentary (that will be released on Breaking Points’ channel).
