As Trump 2.0 Descends to Chaos, We Want to Hit the Road!

Our new reporter Ashley Bishop is ready to hit the road to PUT A FACE to the devastation Trump, Musk, and co. are creating. But we need YOU to make it happen.

I know you’re constantly getting flooded by emails asking you for money so I’ll get to the point: we are in the beginning stages of our 1,000 new member campaign and I’m asking you to help us get there (if already a paid member, thank you!)

Thanks to our recent growth—120,000 new YouTube subscribers already this year as well as nearly 1,000 new paid members over the last 6 months, we were able to FINALLY hire a new full-time reporter, Ashley Bishop. In JUST A WEEK, on the job, she has already covered MASSIVE protests against Trump/Musk, been pushed down to the ground by NYPD cops, and reported on the thousands of layoffs happening as a result of Trump’s tariffs.

Personally, I am thrilled to have her and be able to expand our coverage with a smart, tenacious, pro-worker reporter. And now we want to send her ON-THE-ROAD for a multi-state trip to speak to working people and community members:

• Facing layoffs due to Trump-Musk’s DOGE cuts as well as Trump’s tariffs

• Communities where economic projects are being paused or cancelled due to Trump’s tariffs/DOGE cuts

• Services/programs that have been cut do to Trump-Musk’s DOGE cuts

• People facing economic catastrophe due to Trump’s tariffs (can’t pay the rent, forced to go without critical needs, etc)

• Spotlight local organizing happening as a result of Trump 2.0

• Whatever other stories she stumbles upon

A trip like this, through multiple states, takes A LOT of planning and A LOT of resources to be on the road for a week including rent-a-car, gas, parking, hotels, food, and last minute equipment-needs. And if you haven’t noticed, there are virtually no other outlets—corporate or independent—doing this kind of in-the-trenches, guerrilla journalism. Beyond this trip, we are also trying to grow in order to hire a full-time producer…a role that could significantly help us reach more eyeballs by packaging our unique content for both shorter-form and longer-form videos across many different platforms.
